In a tumultuous election season, when polarization and extreme rhetoric drown out important civic concerns, it can be easy to lose sight of challenging issues. In collaboration with the Foundation for Economic Education, and offered as part of Civic Learning Week, this free webinar will examine one such key issue, namely the ongoing challenges presented by exploding debt and deficits. Join Sphere Education Initiatives on March 14 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. EDT via Zoom for a presentation and workshops on the causes of the current situation, the limits this imposes upon future behavior of the federal government, and what solutions may exist to this burgeoning crisis.

  • This event will be presented via Zoom.
  • All Sphere alumni and interested educators for grades 5–12 are eligible to attend.
  • Earn professional development for attending.
