About

Join Sphere on the Road in San Diego for a special one‐day event on Saturday, November 4th. Experience this event live at San Diego Marriott Mission Valley, where Sphere will bring together world renowned experts to discuss civil discourse, criminal justice reform, and the latest research on universal basic income along with world class professional development and free classroom content.

Hosted in an intimate setting to encourage conversation directly with thought leaders, the day will begin with a conversation about the importance of free speech and civil discourse in our polarized environment. This will be followed by a keynote talk from Clark Neily, Senior Vice President for Legal Studies at the Cato Institute, about criminal justice reform, it’s history and contemporary challenges, and the impact of this effort on your students. After a catered lunch, the highlight of our afternoon will be a talk from Matt Zwolinski, Professor of Philosophy at the University of San Diego, on his new book, Universal Basic Income: What Everyone Needs to Know.

  • $100 stipend upon completion
  • 6 hours of professional development
  • Breakfast and lunch included
